Branding and brand identity people remember

A brand isn’t a logo: it’s what people think, feel and say about your business. Dõlmen is a branding agency that combines strategy and design to create brand identities that are consistent, recognisable and built to grow, from the first idea to the last detail.

We work with companies launching a new brand and with businesses that need a rebrand because their image has fallen behind what they’ve become. Hospitality, consumer products, digital ventures or sport: we always start by understanding the business, who it’s for and what makes it different.

What do we offer?

1.

Strategy & positioning

We look at your market, your competitors and your audience to define what sets you apart. That gives us your positioning, value proposition and brand personality: the foundation for every design decision.

2.

Naming

If the brand doesn’t have a name yet, or the current one isn’t working, we create memorable options that are easy to say in several languages, with domain and social handles checked.

3.

Logo & visual identity

We design the logo and the whole system around it: typography, colour, iconography, photography and illustration. An identity that works just as well on packaging as on a website or an Instagram story.

4.

Design system & applications

We bring the identity to everything you actually use: stationery, packaging, signage, social media templates and presentations. All consistent and easy for your team to apply.

5.

Voice, tone & storytelling

We define how your brand speaks and what it says: key messages, taglines and a tone-of-voice guide, so your website, social media and team speak with one voice.

6.

Brand guidelines

You get clear brand guidelines and every final file neatly organised, so anyone can apply the brand without losing quality.

FAQ

1.How do you work?

1. Listen: A first meeting and a short questionnaire to understand your business, goals and references. No fifty calls: just what’s needed.

2. Strategy: We present the positioning, brand personality and a clear creative direction before drawing anything.

3. Design: We develop the identity and test it in real applications (web, social, packaging) so you can see how the brand will live, with set feedback rounds.

4. Delivery: Final files, brand guidelines and support to roll it out. If you like, we carry on with the website and social media.

2.How do you price a project?

Every brand is different, so we don’t work with fixed price lists. The price mainly depends on scope: whether we start from scratch or from an existing brand, whether naming is included, how many applications you need (packaging, signage, templates…) and the timeline.

After a first conversation we send you a proposal within 48 hours with a fixed scope, timeline and price, with no surprises. As a guide, a complete identity usually takes 4 to 6 weeks. We work with 50% upfront and the rest on delivery, and we can find a flexible payment option if you need one.

3.What’s the difference between a logo and branding?

A logo is one piece; branding is the whole system: strategy, name, visual identity, tone and how it all comes to life at every touchpoint. A good logo without a strategy or system behind it falls short as soon as the brand grows.

4.How long does a branding project take?

A complete identity usually takes 4 to 6 weeks. If you also need naming or lots of applications (packaging, signage), it can take a little longer. The proposal includes a schedule with specific dates.

5.Can you rebrand without losing what already works?

Yes. We start by looking at what your audience already recognises in your current brand so we can keep it and improve the rest. Sometimes an evolution is enough; sometimes it’s better to start again. We’ll tell you honestly.

6.Do I own the brand files?

Yes. At the end we hand over every final file in the formats you need, together with the brand guidelines. The brand is yours.

7.Do you work with clients outside Spain?

Yes. We’re based between Spain and Germany and work remotely, in Spanish and English, with clients in other countries. Meetings happen over video call and deliveries online.
